Supporting our Marin Community
Everyone in Marin deserves the opportunity to have a roof over their head, nutritious food, and greater well-being. During 2021, in the face of unprecedented need and inequity and thanks to those who got involved, Community Action Marin made it possible for more people to stay housed, keep warm, and remain connected. Now, halfway into 2022, needs in Marin have only grown and people in the county are still struggling to maintain self-sufficiency.
At Community Action Marin, we break down the barriers that get in the way of anyone in our community being able to support themselves, and each other. Our clients come to us because they have a need for one of our services. When community members come through any one of our doors, we put them first, listen to what they need and give them more than just the tools to meet the basic requirements for survival. We get them on a path to self-sufficiency and thriving. The agency’s Whole Family Approach works to ensure that needs are met and outcomes at the individual, agency, and community levels are achieved.
Your donation today, no matter what size, helps move Marin County into an equitable future that takes bold steps forward. This is an opportunity for you to make positive changes happen! We rely on the generosity from people like you to support our programs; allowing us to provide assistance to more people and provide all of the services they need. We invite you to join us, get involved, and be an advocate for change in Marin.

I’ve seen how Community Action Marin has strengthened advocacy to help keep people housed and safe during the pandemic. They have taken on challenges no one else could sustain through homeless outreach, mental health, and basic needs. As a neighbor in Marin, I’m so proud to stand with Chandra and Community Action Marin in the work of achieving AN EQUITABLE RECOVERY.”
