About Us

The Giving List was created to provide a portal through which donors can access some of the most powerful stories and information regarding the inner workings of many of Santa Barbara’s most prominent nonprofits. 

Our intention in creating both a physical book and a dynamic website is to give nonprofits visibility with both individual and institutional donors.

Our inaugural book was delivered to more than 16,500 households in Montecito, Hope Ranch and other zip codes in the south Santa Barbara County. In the weeks since we have had heard numerous accounts of nonprofits receiving donations from readers of the book.

By sharing the narratives behind key nonprofits up and down the California coast, we aim to help local philanthropists target their giving while providing the NGOs included the support they need for long-term sustainability.
