I wake up every morning excited to come to work! Once a week, I facilitate a Heart Talk Process Group and meet with couples and families for private therapy sessions. A person’s recovery is built on their strengths, talents, coping abilities, resources, and inherent values. It addresses the whole person and their community, and is supported by peers, friends, and family members.
An Urgent Need for Women’s Residential Treatment Beds
Ohlhoff Recovery Programs is raising $300,000 to remodel a brand-new women’s-only residential treatment home with a communal room, a dining room, private bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and a kitchenette.
Arlene Stanich-Prince, the executive director of Ohlhoff Recovery Programs, says the new house will allow women to stay up to six months, allowing those with young children the time and support they need to help mend those relationships.
“I had little kids when I went to treatment and the stigma then was horrible, and it still is,” says Stanich-Prince.
